Emily and I took a wonderful trip to Space Camp earlier this month. It was a Parent-Child camp over a 3-day weekend, and we had so much packed into our visit that they had to schedule our time in 30 minute increments. Em & I took the 6am flight out of Manchester, NH on Friday and we returned around 11:30pm on Sunday. We had such a blast on all of the simulators, making/launching rockets, going on 2 space missions, doing a space walk, conducting experiments in the "space station", learning about space flight history in the museums, watching regular and 3D Imax movies, sleeping in the futuristic looking Hab 1 building, seeing actual equipment/rockets from space missions, etc., etc.! We also had a great time bonding with the other kids and parents in our team ("Team Mercury"). If you'd like to see "some" of the pictures, check out the photo album here .
